Dit is een originele Jieldé LAK wandlamp. 100% gemaakt in Frankrijk en vervaardigd uit zeer degelijke industriële materialen (aluminium en metaal) waardoor hij praktisch onverwoestbaar is.
Deze Jieldé lampen zijn ontworpen voor medische toepassingen, vandaar dat ze een hoekige vorm hebben.
De armen zijn 40 cm lang bij de LAK versies en op alle scharnierpunten draaibaar. Doordat de lamp sleepcontacten in de scharnieren heeft kan hij 360 graden gedraaid worden zonder kans op draadbreuk.
De kap heeft een diameter van 15 cm en heeft een afstelbeugel / grijpbeugel. Ook is deze lamp uitgerust met een porseleinen E27 fitting.
Deze lamp is uitgevoerd met Schakelaar en 2 meter lang snoer met stekker.
Natuurlijk kunnen we deze lamp voor u op een remschijf zetten, zonder meerprijs.

History

Jean Louis Domecq started work on the Jieldé design in 1950. He does this out of frustration because he cannot find a good lamp for his work as a mechanic. He wants a simple, robust and distinct design that is able to adapt to any work situation. In 1952 production was sufficiently industrialized and the Jieldé company was born. The company name is derived from the designer's initials, JLD.

The pivot points are a technical masterpiece. In the first half of the last century there were many accidents due to breakage of wiring in lamps. This is because no insulation materials have been used yet. Jieldé's first brochure shows that copper discs are used at the pivot points of these lamps instead of electric wire. As a result, there is never a possibility of wire breakage, even with intensive use. This was a groundbreaking invention for the time.

Type Jieldé lampen:

• The Loft Serie :
  The first design from 1950, also called the “standard”
• De Lak Serie :
  Angular version of the Loft Series, widely used in hospitals (late 1960s-early 1970s)
• The Signal Series :
  Smaller version of the Loft Series without the sliding contacts. Introduced in 2006.
• The Aicler Series :
  This is a variant of the Signal Series with cover (round or rectangular)
  Introduced in 2019.
• Augustin / Clement / Beaumont / Dante :
  The Jieldé pendant lamp series introduced from 2010

Jieldé lamps are recognized worldwide as an iconic design of industrial French art. They are handcrafted in Lyon to this day.
