Vintage Jieldé Loft D4401
This lamp has been the icon of French industry since the 1950s, and for good reason! This specimen has certainly become more beautiful as time has gone by. To underline the vintage character and show off the green color, we have stripped the aluminum hinges. This lamp has a rare beautiful patina on the shade.
Jieldé lamps are made of very solid industrial materials and are practically indestructible.
This lamp is rotatable at all hinge points.
Because the lamp has sliding contacts in the hinges, it can be rotated 360 degrees without the risk of wire breakage.
This green Jieldé lamp has a 15 cm aluminum shade with adjustment bracket and a porcelain E27 fitting. The two arms of 40 cm each give you sufficient reach to pull the lamp towards you with the grip ring.
You can of course also attach this lamp directly to your desk or wall or optionally order a sturdy brake disc so that it stands firmly! With the brake disc you also get 2 mtr black rubber cord, bakelite on and off switch and plug.
The arms are 40 cm long, so the maximum height is around 95 cm.

Original porcelain E27 lampholder, suitable for incandescent, energy-saving and LED lamp.
Jean Louis Domecq started work on the Jieldé design in 1940. He does this out of frustration because he cannot find a good lamp for his work as a mechanic. He wants a simple, robust and distinct design that is able to adapt to any work situation. It wasn't until 1950 that he came up with the perfect design.
The pivot points are a technical masterpiece. These are equipped with copper discs instead of power wire. As a result, there is never a possibility of wire breakage, even with intensive use.
