Since its founding in 1911 , Tradition & Progress has been the hallmark of the Baden-Württemberg-based family company Bolichwerke named after company founder Eugen Bolich. The most famous Bauhaus lamp series from this company is Ebolicht, the traditionally high-quality and extremely functional lamps. Completely in the spirit of the Bauhaus period from which this company originates.

Over the past 100 years, the charm of the Ebolicht series has convinced not only households and trendy bars of these timeless lamps. Bolichwerke lamps have already been seen in a number of international movies, including Valkyrie , Inglourious Basterds and countless others as a prop. Also in the business world, these lamps have been purchased by prominent companies such as DaimlerChrysler, BMW, BASF and many restaurants, breweries and numerous architectural firms.

In design, this series of lamps resembles their aluminum counterparts, but Ebolicht lamps are mainly made of thick sheet steel, copper and porcelain for the lamp holders, so that this characteristic material will acquire the typical and much sought after patina over time.
Ebolicht lamps are certainly also suitable for outdoor use.

This lamp series has a guaranteed life of 25 years
